Concord was once the majestic aircraft that rued the skies over Europe. A joint venture of England and France, the only supersonic passenger aircraft first appeared in 1969, but entered service in 1976. For next 27 years the Aérospatiale-BAC Concorde is a turbojet-powered supersonic passenger airliner flew between London, Paris and New York and other destinations and shortened flight time manifold.
Only 20 aircraft were built due to their heavy budget and maintenance costs. As a result of the only crash on 25 July 2000 and other factors, the once mighty Concord retired out of service and had its last flight on 26 November 2003.
The enthusiasts of Concord now take pleasure in flying its remote controlled miniature versions, which from a distance mistakes it for the actual aircraft.
